Bosch has equipped the AKE 30 LI with an electronic kick-back brake, which reacts within a tenth of a second. A warning signal sounds when the user tries to start the machine when the kick back brake is activated. Its powerful 36v (2.6Ah) lithium-ion battery charges quickly and has no self-discharge or memory effect, so it’s always ready to use. This incredibly lightweight chainsaw (just 5.1kg) has a 30cm / 12" bar and is capable of performing up to 100 cuts in 10 x 10 pinewood on a single charge. Charges in 90 minutes.
