The Mountfield 2800SH compact ride on lawnmower handles excellently and is designed for the smaller garden. Powered by a reliable Honda GXV390 389cc engine, this great little ride on lawnmower has a hydrostatic transmission which gives infinitely variable forward and reverse speeds.

A 71cm/28in working width cutter deck with 7 heights of cut (30 - 80mm) ensures perfect grass cutting and collection whatever the conditions.

The large capacity 170 litre grass collector can be emptied from the driving seat or removed to tip on top of a compost heap and has a buzzer to indicate when it is full.

When conditions are suitable, collection and disposal of grass clippings can be eliminated by fitting an optional mulching kit.

Switching between collection or mulch modes is extremely simple and takes less than a minute; just remove the collector, insert the *mulching plug into the discharge chute and replace the collector. To return to collection simply reverse the procedure.
